Relocating to Boston

Boston is the capital and the largest city in Massachusetts. It is the unofficial capital of the New England region and is one of the oldest and wealthiest cities in the United States. Boston's economy is primarily based on education due to the overabundance of colleges and universities in the area, which include Boston College, Harvard University, and Tufts University. Due to Boston's rich cultural history, there are many historical landmarks and attractions such as Boston Harbor and the 18th Century Old State House. Boston is the home of the bar in the popular T.V. show Cheers. It holds many annual events including Boston's major New Years Eve Festival, First Night, and the popular St. Patrick's Day Parade. The city is also home to many sports teams including the 2004 World Champions Boston Red Sox who can be seen at the infamous Fenway Park. Boston has an incredible public transportation system providing the population with bus lines, commuter rail, subways, and water shuttles. Boston is served by the Logan International Airport which is located in East Boston. The residential areas of Boston offer a great diversity to appeal to different needs and values.
